The Evening Star Lodge is an open friendship group, with an unabating sense of humour and a flair for the dramatic. We meet formally four times a year, and meet informally much more frequently. We are young.

 

Over the past two years, the Evening Star Lodge has shifted gears remarkably.  We have moved our meetings from Wednesday afternoons to Saturday mornings, so our working members can attend guilt free. We have invested time in performing our ceremonies, which have been held in high regard by our (often distinguished) guests.  We have forged friendships with similarly dynamic lodges, and people, in the process.

 

When I started my tenure in February this year, perhaps the last thing I anticipated was being unable to meet due to the coronavirus pandemic.  We have kept the heartbeat of the lodge drumming, meeting for regular socials on Zoom and continuing our commitment to charity.

 

We are at a point where I can confidently say that we have an exciting future ahead of us.
